The short version

The numbers you type into our calculators — your salary, savings, mortgage details and speed-test results — are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to us or stored on any server. We can't see them.

The broadband speed test

Our speed test measures your connection by transferring data to and from Cloudflare's public speed-test servers. Your IP address is necessarily visible to those servers during the test, as it is for any website you visit. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
